Wilson’s control-oriented starting guidance is 50–54 lbs (22.7–24.5 kg) for polyester, 52–56 lbs (23.6–25.4 kg) for hybrid, and 56–60 lbs (25.4–27.2 kg) for nylon or natural gut. The best choice is the one that stays comfortable and gives your swing a predictable launch.
